Brace  for Level IV AACCUP Accreditation

All systems go for the College of Teacher Education and the  College of Nursing of  Cebu Normal University as they brace  for the Level IV AACCUP Accreditation scheduled  on March 2-5, 2011.

The AACCUP, or  the Accrediting Agency of Chartered  Colleges and Universities in the Philippines,  will accredit the programs of  both Colleges of Cebu Normal University, CNU.In its quest for quality and excellence in instruction, research, extension and production,  the  College of Teacher Education has  applied for  Level IV AACCUP Accreditation  for the  Bachelor of Elementary Education, BEED and Bachelor of Secondary Education, BSED programs and the Masters and  Doctoral Education Programs in all specializations. In the same manner,  the College of Nursing has also set for Level IV accreditation its Bachelor of Science in Nursing and  Master of Science in Nursing programs, on the same dates,  March 2-5, 2011.

The accreditation is in line with the attainment of the  CNU Administration's Vision which is " Ä leading  multidisciplinary research university of education committed to build a strong nation," and also with its Mission, "To develop high-performing professionals and intellectuals proficient in generating new knowledge  toward a progressive and peaceful pluralistic society."
